Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2015

The annual celebration of Buwan ng Wika was held yesterday, August 19 at CvSU Quadrangle with the theme of “Filipino Wika ng Pambansang Kaunlaran”.

As the university’s tradition, it was started by the “Parada ng Lahi”, where all students were dressed with their colorful and creative costumes of their respective region’s festivals. Also, the teachers joined the parade. And it was followed by the program proper. The CvSU Pandayang Sining led the doxology and the singing of our national anthem.

At the second part of the program, students joined the contests like Sayaw ng Lahi, Isahang Pag-awit, where they show case their talents the audience. And the third part of the program was the most-awaited part, the “Lakan at Lakambini ng Wika 2015”. Contestants represent their regions. They showed their beauty, brains, and talents.

Even if the time of the program is not followed because of the “brown out”, still it resume an hour after. Nothing can stop the celebration of Buwan ng Wika. Still, this celebration was a successful one as always.
